Cassava starch processing machine

The production process of cassava starch is a physical separation process, which separates the starch from fiber, protein and inorganic materials. In the process of production, we usually separate starch from starch suspension according to the property of starch, that is, starch is insoluble in cold water and starch proportion is greater than water.  By using special cassava starch processing machine, we can achieve the goal of separation starch.


1. Cleaning machine: The newly harvested cassava roots contains weed, stone, siol, sand and other debris. Therefore they need to be cleaned first before further processing. Dry sieve is the most widely used cassava starch processing machine for cleaning in cassava starch processing plant. Designed with multiple inner spiral, this machine can achieve the transportation of cassava during the cleaning process.

2. Wahing machine: The cassava starch processing machine for washing in cassava processing plant is used for removing the attached soil, sand, dirt and so on with paddle washing machine and wahsing water. DOING paddle washing machine adopts the counterwater washing principle to save water and improve washing effect.

3.Cutting and crushing machine: When the cassava is completely cleaned and washed, it is transported into next cassava starch processing machine for cutting. By cutting the cassava into small pieces, it not only make the crushing of cassava easier but also improve the extraction rate of starch. And the crushing machine is also an important equipment which effects the starch extraction rate. The widely used crushing equipment is rasper which is a high efficient cassava starch extraction equipment.

4. Separating machine: The grinded cassava slurry then enters into centrifuge sieve for separating fiber and starch. This cassava starch processing machine takes use of high speed centrifugal force to separate the fiber with starch. In cassava starch processing line, we usually take multi centrifuge sieve for a better separating effect. Then the starch need to be further processed in fine fiber sieve whose function is to remove fine fiber out of starch slurry in cassava starch making production plant.

5. Refining machine: Hydrocyclone station is a cassava starch processing machine used for separating protein, cell sap and other debris. A full hydrocyclone technology includes the concentration, recycling and refining of starch milk. The hydrocyclone pipe is made of strengthened nylon which is solid and durable.

6. Dewatering machine: The dewatering process is maily for reducing water content of cassava milk so that it can meet the drying standard. We usually use peeler centrifuge to dewater cassava milk. This cassava starch processing machine can dewater water content of cassava starch into 38%.

7.Drying machine: The final cassava starch processing machine is the flash dryer. When hot air enters the dryer, it strikes the material quickly and mixes with the material, then the wet starch is suspended in the air by the rapid flow of hot air and be dried in an instant. DOING flash dryer has the characteristics of high heat transfer coefficient, large heat transfer area and short drying time.
