Fresh cassava (conveyor)-cleaning and washing(dry sieve, rotary washing machine)-crushing (rasper)-starch slurry separation (centrifugal sieve, fine fiber sieve)-sand removal (desander) -protein separation (hydrocyclone station)-dehydration(vacuum filter)-Drying (flash dryer)

Here is the brief introduction of tapioca starch manufacturing process
1. Cleaning and washing section: This is the first step for the tapioca starch manufacturing process. The mainly equipped cassava starch processing machine in this section includes: primary cleaning machine which is also called dry sieve and rotary washing machine for washing process. After the raw materials are processed separately in these machines, the washed cassavaes reach the requirement to enter the next stage. The main features of this section is: continuous workability, large processing capacity and low power and water consumption.

3. Starch slurry separation and refining section

c. Concerntration and refining: Hydrocyclone station is the mainly used machine for remove the protein, cell fiber, cell sap out of starch milk in tapioca starch manufacturing process. And a complete hydrocyclone station contains the concerntration, refining and recycling.

4. Dehydration and drying section: Then it is the final step for tapioca starch manufacturing process. The equipped machines are vacuum filter and flash dryer. The vacuum filter mainly for dehydrating water to reduce water content in starch milk. And the drying process is carried out by the principle of negative pressure. The wet starch is mixed with hot air into the air duct, and after entering the drying requirement, it enters the cyclone separator and is then packaged into the storage.
