The cassava starch making production plant of Doing Company adopts the wet processing technology of starch production without any additives. The process is operated automatically from the whole process of cleaning, washing, grinding, separating, desanding, concentration and refining, dehydration and drying of raw materials.

1. Raw material receiving unit: The raw material receiving unit is the first step of cassava starch making production plant. The main purpose of this unit is to remove the cassava impurities and store them in the raw material storage pool. cassavaes can be stored for no more than half a month, and the longer the cassavaes are stored, the more detrimental it is to starch production.

2. Cassava cleaning unit: the dry sieve is the firstly used cassava starch manufacturing machine in cassava starch making production plant. It meanly remove the dirt, stand, small stones, weeds and other impurities on the surface of the cassava.

3. Cassava washing unit: Washing: Using paddle washing machine, and use the profit plate conveyor or self-current into washing machine.To remove soil, dirt and other impurities in cassava starch making production plant.

4. cassava cutting and crushing unit: The cassava starch processing machine used for cassava starch making production plant in this section is: cassava cutting machine and rasper. The cutting machine is mainly for cutting the cleaned cassava into pieces so that it is easier to be grinded. The rasper is a high efficient grinding machine which is researched and designed by Doing Company on the basis of advanced international technology. The rasper features with high extraction rate with a free starch rate of 95%.

5. Starch slurry and slag separating unit: The mainly used cassava starch processing machine in cassava starch making production plant includes centrifuge sieve and fine fiber sieve. Centrifuge sieve is a machine which take use of high speed centrifugal force to separate the fiber from starch. And the fine fiber sieve is used maily for removing the fine fiber from starch to further improve the quality of the final products. 

6. Desanding unit: This process is mainly for remove the sand content out of cassava slurry for it has a bad influence on the taste of cassava starch in cassava starch making production plant. The desander utilizes the different specific gravity between the cassava starch and sand to remove the sand.

7. Concentration and refining unit: The hydrocyclone station will then be used. The main purpose of this machine for cassava starch making production plant is to remove the fiber, protein and cell sap. The full hydrocyclone technology includes the concentration, refining and recycling of cassava starch.

8. Dewatering unit: The moisture content of the starch milk coming out from the cyclone station is too large to be directly dried in cassava starch making production plant. Therefore, the starch milk should be dehydrated first, so that the moisture content of the starch is about 40%.

9. Drying unit: The dewatered starch is sent to the flash dryer through the screw conveyor for drying. Flash dryer takes use of the high speed hot air to dry cassava starch which is completed just in a few seconds. The moisture content of starch after drying is between 12 and 14% in cassava starch making production plant, reaching the standard of finished products.
