1. Cassava cleaning: The most wildly used cassava cleaning machine is called dry sieve. This cassava starch processing machine is normally used in the first step in cassava starch manufacturing process. It is mainly used for removing the sand, soil and other debris.

2. Cassava washing:  Paddle washing machine is the most widely used washing machine in cassava starch manufacturing process whose main function is to further wash the attached dirt, mud, sand, ect. 4. Separation: Raw starch pulp contains many secondary substances which need to be separated through a series of steps in cassava starch manufacturing process. Separation is a step aimed at removing fibers out of starch pulp.

5. Desanding: The specific gravity of mud and sand is greater than that of water, and is also larger than that of starch granules. Hence the separation of sand out of starch slurry by gravity separation is effective. Desander is a machine serves for this purpose in cassava starch manufacturing process.

6. Hycrocyclone refining: Hycrocyclone station is used for concentration, refining and washing the starch slurry in cassava starch production line so as to achieve the purpose of removing the protein, cell sap and other impurities in cassava starch manufacturing process. The extraction is a counter current process. With hydrocyclone station it is possible to reduce protein and cell sap to low levels with a minimum of fresh water. The color or whiteness can be ensured by this process.

7. Dewatering: After dewatering, the water content in the starch is reduced from 60% to 38-40%. And the wet starch is sent to the airflow dryer in cassava starch manufacturing process through a screw conveyor.

8. Starch drying: Flash dryer is the extemsively used cassava drying machine in cassava starch manufacturing process whose main function is to dry the wet starch coming from peeler centrifuge. The working principle of this cassava starch processing machine is negative press drying which can drying the material within few seconds.
