Cassava starch production plant and making machine

1. Washing and grinding: The washing cassava starch production plant is carried out in a washing machine. Remove impurities such as mud, stones, stems and leaves and muddy sand adhering to the surface of the cassava. The water consumption is about 5 times that of the raw material. 2. Screening: The ground cassava paste is sieved. 3. Desanding and refining: The starch emulsion from the screening section is first enters desander to remove sand impurities for cassava starch production plant. Then impurities in starch emulsion such as protein are separated in hydrocyclone system, after that the starch milk is washed in the washing tank. The yellow slurry water with starch is separated from first two stage hydrocyclone and sent to later 2-8 hydrocyclone unit to recover the starch, and then the secondary starch is obtained through the washing tank.

4. Dehydration and drying: After the starch is washed in the cassava starch production plant, the water content is high, and it must be dehydrated by a centrifuge to obtain 40% wet starch with water content, and dried by a air flow dryer to dry starch with an moisture of 14%.
